Custom-length, custom-fit stem extensions that let operators actuate ball valves located above ceilings, inside cabinets, above insulation, behind panels, or otherwise out of practical reach. We offer stem extensions for ball and butterfly valves, custom fabricated out of steel, plastics, PVC or most popular stainless steel to your specifications and lengths. All extensions replicate the valve top works, so that standard options and accessories can be used or retrofitted. This option is designed for installations where pipe insulation would make standard handles inoperable. The stem extension can also be used where a handle needs to be raised above an adjoining obstruction. Installations where the valve is mounted behind a panel can be an ideal place for the stem extension. Stem extension provides a rise for clearance of the handle for operation when insulation on the piping system is required.
